How to Get Started
We suggest that all new students sign up for the Introductory Offer. Show up about 15 minutes before the class you are interested in for a brief orientation. Wear some loose comfortable clothing. Check out the on-line schedule for the right class. No shorts please.
Classes are ongoing; new students simply begin attending the classes. For the first few classes you will receive personalized instruction, generally from one of the advanced students or an instructor. Very soon afterward you will be practicing with everyone else in the class.
Previous martial arts experience is not required to begin practice, and at all levels, you will find all of our classes to be social and cooperative. We practice with each other, not against each other.
It helps to be in reasonable physical shape, but this is not a requirement. As you continue to practice, you will begin to achieve increased flexibility, balance, and cardio-vascular endurance.
